The stone fireplace anchors the main level, the place the group gravitates to when the mountain air turns cold. There is seating for the whole group, good views of the fire, and the kind of quiet that actually makes you stop checking your phone. The front porch extends that feeling outside, with seating facing the ridge and treeline.

Lower Level

The lower level is effectively its own zone: another bedroom, a bathroom, exercise room, recovery access, and a recreation room that handles movie nights, games, or work-overflow space away from the main floor. It gives larger groups a way to share the house without living on top of each other. The kids can take the rec room. The adults can keep the fireplace. Everyone gets a little breathing room.
